I always have such good intentions but something ALWAYS seems to put up a bit of a road block when it comes to my Blog!

This weekend I had a bit of an accident... we were outside cleaning up our yard and I was moving our patio furniture when I fell though some rotted deck boards!

Trip to the hospital and a tetanus shot, followed by ALOT of ice packs! My leg is pretty bruised and swollen and hurts to walk..and this is day 3.

So needless to say, we will be re-doing our deck this summer.

I have also gone back to work so that has taken time away from Blog and Youtube.

I also had some major computer issues and lost everything on my hard drive! And I do mean EVERYTHING!

So now I have a ton of work to redo and almost don't know where to start!

Many product reviews to catch up on and re do, along with so many things that I have planned since becoming Youtube Partner.

I am making a conscious effort to devote more time to my Blog and bring you some great product information, beauty tips and more.

Mineral Makeup is my friend!

For so many years I hated mineral makeup!  I thought it was way too messy, wouldn't provide enough coverage and be cakey and really accent any lines.

This past year or so I have really been experimenting with all that is mineral. I love that mineral makeup generally does not contain a bunch of chemical fillers and due to the fact that it is not a liquid, has a much longer shelf life!

I have done the research and have found that minerals are beneficial to your skin and in some cases provide some natural sunscreen protection and DOES offer buildable coverage, from sheer to full  while still allowing you skin to breath.

I have also noticed that with continued use, my skin has actually gotten better!

I am thrilled that when I wear My Mica Bella I don't feel as though my face is caked with makeup, that is one thing I can't stand.. feeling like I am wearing a mask and that my skin can't breathe! Also having oily skin, the mineral foundations have really helped to control the shine.

Everyday Style : Belle Jolie Jewelry

With so many choices today it is sometimes hard to know where to purchase fashionable jewelry and accessories, you don't want to have to spend a small fortune, yet you don't want to sacrifice quality.

As part of my New Years Resolution to lead a healthier lifestyle and try and help my Fibromylagia symptoms, I have been testing out different teas, especially organic ones.

One Company that I am testing at the Moment is Mighty Leaf Tea.

Mighty Leaf Tea has both a Canadian and American website which is great for those who are shopping on opposite sides of the border. No worrying about those pesky custom fees us Canadians have to deal with when ordering from an American website.

New Year...New Blog!

Well, what started out as just a way to network and over come some shyness issues has flourished into a full time channel!
I have become extremely busy with product reviews, hauls & Giveaways! And as always, I do my best to find more budget friendly alternatives to the high end brands that everyone covets. Most times though, it is not just about the name brand but the quality of the product!

Part of my New Year's Resolution was to become active with blogging, not just my Youtube channel. So I will be combining the best of both worlds to bring you all of content you are used to..only amping it up a bit!
